This Cookie Policy explains how SkynetX Labs, Inc. (“SkynetX”) uses cookies and similar browser-side storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) on skynetx.io. Read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1.Our approach: functional only
We use cookies only to make the Service work and to remember lightweight display preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics that profile individual users for marketing.
Because our cookies are functional rather than marketing, in most jurisdictions the legal basis is strict necessity or legitimate interest rather than opt-in consent. Where local law requires consent for any specific cookie, we will ask for it through the banner before setting it.
2.Cookies we use
The table below lists every cookie and storage key we set. Patterns ending in * match any suffix set by the third-party library.
| Name | Type | Category | Party | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Cookie | Strictly necessary | Third-party (Clerk) | Authentication session token issued by Clerk. Required to keep you signed in. | Session (rotates on refresh) |
| __clerk_* | Cookie | Strictly necessary | Third-party (Clerk) | Clerk-maintained cookies for session JWTs, refresh tokens, and anti-CSRF protection during authentication flows. | Session to 1 year, depending on cookie |
| cg_new_api_key | Cookie | Strictly necessary | First-party | One-time cookie used to display a newly generated API key to you once, immediately after creation. Cleared after you view or dismiss the key. | Single use — cleared after read |
| __prefs-theme | localStorage | Functional | First-party | Remembers your theme choice (light, dark, or system) so the UI renders consistently between visits. | Until you clear it |
| cookie_consent | localStorage | Strictly necessary | First-party | Records that you have seen and acknowledged this Cookie Policy, so we do not re-show the banner on every visit. | Until you clear it |
Clerk documents its own cookies at clerk.com/docs/security/clerk-cookies. We link to their canonical list because Clerk may update its cookie set between our policy updates.
3.Third-party cookies at Stripe checkout
When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are redirected to Stripe to enter payment details. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain — we do not control or have access to them. Stripe uses those cookies for payment processing, fraud prevention, and its own compliance purposes. See Stripe’s Cookie Policy for details.
4.What we don't use
- Advertising / targeting cookies. None. No ad networks, no retargeting pixels.
- Cross-site trackers. None.
- Behavioral analytics cookies. We do not use tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar in a cookie-setting configuration. If we add privacy-preserving analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for consent first.
- Session replay that records form input. Not used.
5.How to manage or clear cookies
In your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies and clear site-specific localStorage. Note that blocking our strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in — the Service will not work without them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising, our behavior is the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. For California residents, we treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of any future selling or sharing of personal information.
6.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy — for example, if we change authentication providers or add a new preference key. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced by a notice in the product or by email.
